Description:
Project-type technical cooperation is designed to protect and extend tropical rain forests and other types of forest in developing countries, and to promote sustainable forest management practices that will contribute to the economic and social development of the given country. Specific examples of these activities include the Tropical Rainforest Study Plan in Indonesia and the Reforestation and Extension Project in Northeast Thailand.
