Description:
'This union is composed of various communities and associations from several European countries, six of which are from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The main goal of this union is to organize a cooperation with people indigenous to rainforest regions in order to slow down the deforestation of virgin forests. In Europe, the objective of this union is to initiate and support measures at the regional level that contribute to the reduction of anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases. Specifically, the goal is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 50% (as compared with 1990) by 2010.'
